Top 5 Family-Friendly Restaurants in Naples
Traveling to Naples with a younger crowd? There are many fine dining options around town, but not all of the top spots are geared towards families with younger children. Here are ten of my favorite places to take my kids out to eat in Naples.
Pinchers, Tin City Location - quality seafood and kids eat free.
Nestled in iconic Tin City, Pinchers is a local seafood spot that offers happy hour specials, water views and a family friendly experience that will make you return for more. While Pinchers has multiple locations throughout South Florida, there is something special about their Tin City location. There is ample seating inside and out, but if you find yourself on the waiting list, Tin City's shops and boardwalks are the perfect place to keep your family entertained while you wait. My kids like the peel and eat shrimp (during Happy Hour, they are discounted) and chicken tenders. When available, I enjoy the local crab in their special house sauce. Located at 1200 5th Avenue South.
Brooks Burgers, Downtown Location - Fun Atmosphere, Fast and Fresh Food
Brooks Burgers has a couple locations in Naples, but nothing beats the atmosphere in the original location that sits near the top of 5th Avenue. A no-frills interior is decorated with an aviation theme and the booths provide comfortable family-friendly seating. My kids like the french fries and classic burger. I usually order Todd's Way. Another interesting local favorite is the donut burger. Located at 330 9th St S.
The Cove Inn Coffee Shop - A Classic Breakfast Spot the Whole Family Will Love
Located in the historic Cove Inn, the site's Coffee Shop is an old-school local favorite. Harkening back to childhood diner favorites, this downtown spot offers classic American breakfast fare. My kids like the pancakes and I'd recommend the homemade hash with over easy eggs. Located at 900 Broad Avenue South.
Gumbo Limbo- Family Friendly Fine Dining
As a mother of young boys I know that family-friendly fine dining is difficult to achieve. Long wait times and even longer stares from fellow patrons can make dinners a challenge. Reopening on September 1, 2023, Gumbo Limbo is located on the beach in front of the Ritz Carlton. Kids can run around on the sand while you wait for your meals and the outdoor atmosphere is helpful in the noise-control department. While the new menu will undoubtedly offer some different selections, my kids enjoyed the coconut shrimp and I favor the scallops for dinner. Located at 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road.
Brambles Tea Room - Perfect for a Girl's Lunch Out
As a mother of boys, I don't often get the opportunity to frequent spots that are perfect for a mother-daughter day out. Recently, however, I joined a local mom's group at Brambles for their signature lunch/tea. Located in the heart of 5th avenue, it's a spot I walked by a hundred times without noticing. Brambles is a beautiful little tea room that offers a wide selection of sandwiches, salads and beverages. I noticed a number of beautifully dressed mother-daughter tables enjoying a fun day out. With or without kids, this place is worth a visit. Located at 340 5th Avenue South.
