1. Nosh – Elevating Happy Hour ($$$$)
Nosh, a contemporary American bistro, kickstarts our journey with an elevated happy hour experience. Unwind with crafted cocktails and discounted small plates, showcasing Nosh's commitment to culinary innovation.
Nosh is undisputedly one of the top restaurants for foodies in Naples and their Happy Hour, which runs from 2PM to 6PM daily, is a great way to sample a cross section of their food. From the Kobe Beef Burger ($15) and the Miso-Sake Toro Salmon and Butterfish Skewers ($14) to the Tuna Sashimi Salad ($14) and Truffle Fries ($10) the Nosh Happy Hour Menu includes favorites for a great price. The Happy Hour Menu also includes an array of Signature Cocktails for $10.
2. Truluck's Seafood, Steak, and Crab House ($$$$)
Coastal Elegance: At Truluck's, coastal elegance meets affordability during happy hour 5PM -6PM daily. This seafood hot spot is nestled downtown on 4th Avenue next to 5th Avenue so you can walk on over after grabbing a bite to experience downtown. Savor half-priced cocktails, wines, and appetizers, surrounded by the upscale ambiance that defines this seafood and steakhouse.
Happy Hour items include Snapper Crudo ($16), Heirloom Tomato ($15), Shrimp Cocktail ($13) and 3 Prime Meatballs ($9). It’s a pretty good deal considering the Shrimp Cocktail is $24 on the dinner menu. All cocktails over $25 are 25% off and noteworthy wines are priced at $10 or less a glass. Remember, this Happy Hour lasts just an hour, so we recommend getting there early and ordering as soon as you can.
3. Le Colonial Naples – New Favorite – ($$$)
Embrace the historic charm of Le Colonial Naples during happy hour and experience one of our favorite new restaurants in town.
Located on 5th Avenue, Le Colonial has a Happy Hour Menu that runs from 3PM to 5PM daily and offers Small Plates from $8 to $10, $5 for select beer and $7-10 for select wines. During regular hours, the Small Plates menu is priced from $18 to $36, so the discounted prices are a great deal. Read more about the recent opening of Le Colonial in our blog here.
4. Ocean Prime – ($$$$)
Downtown Sophistication: Located smack dab in the middle of 5th Avenue, Ocean Prime is a haven of sophistication during happy hour. Experience the beauty of 5th Avenue at night while enjoying discounted drinks and appetizers that highlight the finest in seafood and steaks.
The Happy Hour Menu, which runs Monday-Friday, 4-6 PM offers $5 off the Lounge Menu of sushi, oysters, and appetizers along with discounted wine, beer, and cocktails. With Lounge Menu items running anywhere from $15 to $33, this is a great way to try out Ocean Prime for less.
5. The Claw Bar – ($$$$)
Bellasera's Secret: Tucked away in the Bellasera Resort, The Claw Bar unveils a hidden gem for happy hour enthusiasts. Revel in a laid-back yet sophisticated ambiance, complemented by an extensive raw bar menu and live music.
One of our favorites, The Claw Bar’s intimate setting and variety of seating options (outside, booths, tables, raw bar) make this a great place to meet up with friends. The Happy Hour Menu offers $5 off Signature Cocktails, $7 mixed drinks and beer for $4 and $5. My favorite discounted menu item is the Southern Collection ($15 during Happy Hour, $19 on the regular menu) that features pimento cheese, smoked fish dip and house pickles. The excellent fried oysters ($22 on the regular menu and $15 on the happy hour menu) come with a delicious bayou remoulade.
6. Seventh South Craft Food + Drink – ($$)
An often overlooked gem: Seventh South strikes a chord with trendsetters seeking a dynamic happy hour experience. Dive into a menu of discounted specialty cocktails, wines, and small plates, all served in a chic and inviting atmosphere.
I find that friends of mine who have lived here for years are unfamiliar with this tucked-away gem next to Fifth. All of the meals I’ve had there are excellent and their Happy Hour menu helps you find new favorites for less. One warning is that while the Happy Hour menu gives you a lot of bang for your buck, it is limited to four (great) items: Tuna Tataki Nachos ($9), Smoked Fish Spread ($8), Roasted Oysters ($9) and Meatballs ($7). The Roasted Oysters are a local favorite and are featured on the regular menu for $18. Drinks range from an extremely reasonable $5 to $7.
7. Hampton Social – ($$$)
East Coast Escape: Just a short drive from downtown and located in the Mercato Shopping Center, Hampton Social transports patrons to an East Coast haven during happy hour. Immerse yourself in beachy vibes, sip on refreshing drinks like Frosé, and relish discounted bites such as lobster and shrimp rolls.
Often featuring live music, Hampton Social’s weekday Happy Hour (3-6PM) features many favorite regular menu items such as their Spinach Dip for $12 ($16 on regular menu) and the Tuna Tartare for $16 ($20 on the regular menu). Drink specials include $5 draft beers, $9 house wines and $10 signature cocktails.
8. Hogfish Harry’s - I thought I was in Naples, Not Key West - ($$)
Tucked away in a tropical oasis in midtown, Hogfish Harry’s is the local dining favorite that you don’t want to miss out on. Cross the painted bridge near the entrance and you’ll swear you booked your vacation in Key West and not Naples. Happy Hour is held from 3-5PM daily, and the Happy Hour food specials are served only if you are seated at the bar (centrally located with a tropical vibe). You truly can’t miss with the food and atmosphere here, and for small bites ranging from $5 to $9, wines for $5 and cocktails for $7, it’s a great deal.
We missed Happy Hour yesterday, but we ended up taking our family (including two small children) to the restaurant last night. I tried the crispy wings for the first time ($16 on the regular menu but just $8 on the Happy Hour Menu) and they were excellent. Piled with giant blue cheese crumbles. I also highly recommend the Coconut Shrimp and PEI Mussels from the Happy Hour Menu (both $9).
9. Shea's Landsdowne Street – ($)
Irish Charm with a Tropical Twist: Shea's Landsdowne Street offers a unique fusion of New England Irish charm and tropical vibes.
Now we’ve certainly reached the more casual part of our list with Shea’s, which looks and feels much more like a casual bar than an upscale downtown establishment. Don’t miss out, however, because Shea’s has great live music and some of the best happy hour deals in town. Everything on the Happy Hour Menu – available from 3-6PM every day – is $6.99 or less. It’s a great deal for everything from a Caprese Stacked Salad ($5.99) to Smoked Wings ($6.99 on Happy Hour menu and $14.99 on the regular menu). Domestic beers are just $3.49 and mixed well drinks just $3.99.
10. Jack's Seafood Bar and Grill Casual Dive Bar, A Local Favorite ($)
Certainly the most casual place on this list, Jack’s is one of the few remaining dive bars in Naples that still has a family-friendly Happy Hour and solid food options. While Jack’s has a locals-only vibe, the staff is very friendly and there’s plenty of seating options.
Happy Hour times are a bit of a mish-mash, but Happy Hour is advertised from Monday-Friday 3pm to 7pm, Saturday-Sunday 11am to 7pm and Sunday-Thursday 10pm to close. While limited, the Happy Hour Menu features 25% off wings and peel n’ eat shrimp along with $1 off beer, house wine, well and call drinks. As far as Happy Hour food goes, that comes out to $12 for 10 wings and half a pound of peel and eat shrimp for $10.50.
In Naples, Florida, happiness comes in many forms, and these ten happy hour hotspots embody the city's diverse and sophisticated charm. From the upscale choices on Fifth Avenue like Le Colonial and Ocean Prime to the midtown local favorite Hogfish Harry’s, whether you're seeking upscale elegance, seaside relaxation, or a trendy atmosphere, Naples' happy hours promise unforgettable moments with every sip and bite.
