Stacked High and Full of Flavor: Where to Find the Best Reuben in Naples, FL

Nearly 40 years ago, Marci and Larry Redding set out to bring something special to Naples: a Jewish-style deli serving up hearty, homemade classics in a warm, welcoming setting. Since then, Larry’s Lunchbox has become a staple in the community, famous for its legendary Reuben sandwiches and homemade soups.

Naples locals know: when it comes to lunch, Larry’s has always been the go-to spot. Their Reuben is routinely considered the best in Naples and it was named one of the top sandwiches by The Naples Florida Review

Now, the legacy continues with a new chapter with Marci's retirement after 39 years. The Airport Road location is under the ownership of Oscar Ortiz, Larry’s trusted chef of the past five years. Oscar has been behind the scenes crafting the same beloved dishes, and he’s proud to carry the torch forward — keeping the favorite soups and sandwiches plus some new additions. Meanwhile, the Neapolitan Way location remains in the family, now run by Marci and Larry’s daughter, Kimmy, who brings her own passion to the deli her parents built.

Larry’s Lunchbox is truly a Naples institution you can't miss. Stop by and be sure to order a Reuben!

Larry’s Lunchbox – Rita’s Reuben Ritual - $23

"Larry’s Lunchbox is nearly as well known for its charismatic owner Marci (the “soup Nazi of Naples”, like the famous Seinfeld scene you can look up on YouTube) as it is for its Jewish-deli-style sandwiches. Rita’s Reuben Ritual is a crowd pleaser despite its outwardly steep price tag. For $23, you will definitely get two meals out of this sandwich. Rita’s Reuben is a pretty close approximation to the original, with hot corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian Dressing. Larry’s is a Naples classic, and you won’t regret stopping in. (Their soups are also excellent.)" - The Naples Florida Review
