Naples Hidden Gems: Mino Italian Pizzeria
Tucked away in the heart of downtown Naples is an Italian hidden gem waiting to be discovered. If you are on the hunt for authentic Italian food, Mino should be on your list. This gem serves up the best Neapolitan pizza in town, crafting small pies that are blistered from the oven and bursting with flavor. The decor is no fuss–you’ll find a simple interior–but it won’t matter once you dig into the bruschetta and homemade spaghetti alla chittara, deceptively simple dishes that are impeccable when done right. Whether you need a family-friendly dinner spot or simply craving a bowl of fresh pasta, look no further than Mino. Just steps from Tin City in downtown Naples is Mino, a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant that escapes the notice of many locals, despite the fact that it’s been in the same location since 2016. It’s certainly worth a visit, however, because Mino has some of the most delicious and most straightforward Italian food in Naples.
Mino is located on 6th Avenue South in a brightly painted yellow building. Once inside, the décor is darker but clean and simple. Wooden tables are simply set around the main dining area and there is a separate bar area with TVs where you can go catch a game. No fuss, no elaborate décor, just homey and casual.
