Inside Nat Nat: Naples' Cozy New Natural Wine Bar You’ll Want to Keep to Yourself

If you want to feel like a Naples insider, check out Nat Nat, Naples' newest, all-natural wine bar. It's the kind of place you’d almost hope no one else finds out about. It’s small and tucked away, with a cozy charm that makes you feel like you’re in Paris or NYC.

Despite the adherence to only natural wines, there is no pretension here and the sommeliers will welcome you with care. They specialize in natural wines of the mostly French and Italian variety, and every bottle is thoughtfully chosen. You can try a three-wine flight or buy a bottle off the shelf for retail price, plus a $25 corkage fee.

The food is just as thoughtful. Co-owners Peter Rizzo and Chef Ming Yee wanted to extend the organic focus into the kitchen, working with local farms and fishermen to source local produce. The menu changes weekly because of their sourcing, but expect simple, well-executed dishes of small plates with a few entrees, like a well-made sourdough focaccia, sautéed mushrooms, and snapper ceviche. Their homemade ice cream is also a must.

There is bar seating, comfy couches, and low lighting, perfect for the romantic evening. It’s the kind of place you could easily lose a few hours in, tasting wines you’ve never heard of, eating delicious food, and feeling a little bit like you have your own secret spot—for now. On your next trip to Naples be sure to spend an evening at Nat Nat Wine Bar before everyone else finds this hidden gem.
