Gumbo Limbo at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is one of those rare beachfront restaurants that hits just the right balance between laid-back and luxurious. The Naples Florida Review recently named it as one of the best beachfront restaurants in Naples and for good reason.
Tucked right on the sands of Naples Beach, it offers an serene open-air dining experience where you can enjoy stunning Gulf views, the sound of waves rolling in, and some seriously delicious coastal cuisine.
Although it's The Ritz, the vibe here is casual and tropical, with beachfront seating and an easygoing atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if you’re a local. It’s perfect for anything from a relaxed lunch to sunset drinks or a low-key dinner after a beach day. With a warm breeze, a cool cocktail in hand, and the sun setting below the horizon, what more could you want?
As for the food, seafood lovers will feel right at home. Favorites include the Grilled Grouper Tacos, topped with lime and cilantro slaw and tomatillo salsa, or the Coconut Shrimp with an orange horseradish dip. The Lobster Quesadilla and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes are also crowd pleasers. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, the Gumbo Salad is fresh and flavorful, with grilled chicken, goat cheese, avocado, pickled chayote, and citrus vinaigrette, all tossed with greens and macadamia nuts.
They’ve also got you covered if you’re gluten-free, with dedicated buns and a separate fryer for fries. And don’t skip the drinks! The tropical cocktails are as fun to order as they are to sip, with names like Trouble In Paradise. It’s the perfect way to toast the sunset.

This spot was out of commission after Hurricane Ian, but it’s thankfully back. I have a favorite photo of myself pregnant here, which may be why I’m so sentimental. But sunset cocktails and the ring of the bell make it truly special.
