The Story of Revs Institute
Revs Institute is a place where you can learn about the history and future of cars. It was founded by Miles Collier, who loves cars and racing.
Miles Collier’s family was very involved in the car industry in America. His father and uncle were the first ones to introduce sports car racing in the 1930s. They also helped Miles Collier develop his passion for car racing by joining the Sports Car Club of America.
Miles Collier is not only a car enthusiast, but also a philanthropist, investor, and fine artist. He has raced many different cars, including a Porsche Speedster and some vintage cars. He won the SVRA Driver of the Year Award in 1984.
In 1986, Miles Collier bought a collection of rare and valuable cars from his friend Briggs Swift Cunningham. This collection had some of the most amazing cars ever made, such as one of the six Bugatti Royales and the first Ferrari racing car sold in the US.

You can enjoy each gallery for about 1.5 to 2 hours. The museum is open until 4 pm, and the last entry is at 2:00 pm.
When you buy a ticket, you agree to let Revs Institute use your photos and likeness for marketing purposes without asking or paying you.
How to Dress?
They keep their collections in a cool and dry environment. If you get cold easily, they recommend wearing long pants, sweaters, or other warm clothes. Most visitors find the temperature comfortable.
Accessibility
You can enter and exit the building through the glass doors at the front. They are easy to reach from the parking lots by following the brick paths.
The Revs Institute is fully accessible, with an elevator to the upper floors and a ground-level entrance. Also, they have two wheelchairs available for tours if you need them, and handicapped parking in both lots.
Visitor Conduct Policy
Every car on display at the Revs Institute is a priceless and unique piece of art and history. You can get close to the exhibits, but please stay at least one foot away from the vehicles. - General Admission: You can wander around the galleries at your own pace, and ask our friendly volunteers for any information or assistance.
- Docent-Led Tours: You can join a guided tour with a knowledgeable docent, who will show you the highlights of the museum and answer your questions.
- Docent + Workshop: You can also opt for a Docent + Workshop tour, which includes a visit to the vehicle factory where you can see how the cars are repaired and preserved. These tours are available only at 10:30 and 1:30.
