Best of Naples: Favorite Steak Among Locals
Wondering where to get the best steak in Naples, according to locals? The newsletter The Naples Florida Review tallied up the results of a recent poll to find which restaurant earned the title of "Best Steak in Naples." Although two spots were neck and neck, Andre’s Steakhouse beat out Jimmy P’s Charred as the favorite among these pollsters. Andre’s reputation makes sense: its founder worked at one of the most famous steakhouses in the world—Peter Luger’s in New York City. Among the dark, wood-paneled dining room you will find a delicious, butter-based porterhouse steak which will run you a pretty penny. Impressively, it opened 31 years ago and has held the test of time among locals. Read what The Naples Florida Review found in their recent review.

The race for favorite steak in Naples was a close one, but Andre’s Steakhouse secured the win by one vote over Jimmy P’s Charred. Rounding out the top five were The Continental, The Capital Grille and The French / Rouge Steakhouse. I was surprised and pleased that there was a nice range of restaurants in the top five, and that just two of them are truly part of the downtown 5th Avenue/3rd Street scene (The French/Rouge and The Continental, respectively).
So does Andre’s lives up to the hype? To read the rest of the article, click here.
