A Hidden Gem for Mediterranean Dining in the Bayshore Arts District: The MED

In the vibrant Bayshore Arts District—just minutes from downtown Naples—The MED offers an upscale yet unpretentious dining experience that feels worlds away from the tourist trail. For vacationers looking to eat like a local, this hidden gem delivers. With a charming courtyard lit by string lights and surrounded by vertical herb gardens, and a cozy, candlelit interior, The MED is the kind of place you don’t just visit—you linger, unwind, and remember.

The menu is a celebration of fresh, coastal Mediterranean flavors, crafted with seasonal ingredients and elevated by thoughtful presentation. This summer, take advantage of a limited-time $32 two-course dinner special, featuring standout entrées like pistachio-encrusted salmon, wood-fired pizzas, and the chef’s family-recipe lasagna. It’s one of the best values in Naples—no resort markup, just genuinely good food in a relaxed setting.

Whether you’re in town for the beaches, shopping, or a romantic getaway, The MED belongs on your Naples dining itinerary. Located near the Naples Botanical Garden and surrounded by the district’s growing art scene, it’s the perfect stop before or after exploring the neighborhood. With five-star hospitality, handcrafted cocktails, and an atmosphere that feels like a well-kept local secret, The MED is everything a vacation meal should be—memorable, delicious, and just a little unexpected. While it’s been on Bayshore Drive for a few years, it still feels a bit undiscovered. But the Bayshore Arts District is quickly changing. Between the recently opened Seventh South Waterfront, Rebecca’s, and the latest Sunday Arts Market, there are ever-growing reasons to head over to Bayshore. Read the complete review on The Naples Florida Review.
